We acknowledge that our work reaches across the ancestral and traditional territories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples throughout the lands now known as Canada, including First Nations territories, the Métis Homeland, and Inuit Nunangat.

We honour their distinct cultures, languages, histories, and enduring relationships with the lands and waters. We recognize treaty territories and unceded lands, acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonialism, and honour the strength, leadership, and resilience of Indigenous peoples.
